Final arrangements for Saturday Feb 29

GSB Out Protest 29 Feb

The final arrangements for our action on February 29th are as follows:

The stroll will take place along the Greenway, with a number of locations to join depending on your own travel arrangements. Please be aware there are a number of disruptions to rail services so please check your journey in advance and plan accordingly.

The stroll will start from the Plaistow entrance of the Greenway at 12.15pm. The Greenway is a very short walk from Plaistow Station. Turn right exiting the Station, walk 80 yards down the hill and take first right onto Upper Road. The Greenway is 300 yards, just past the recreation ground.

Both the Vic and the Queens Road West Community centre are opening at 10.00am.

You can then join us at the following points along the Greenway:

1. West Ham around 12.30pm. The entrance is a 3-minute walk from West Ham station. Go right out of West Ham Station, walk 15 yards to the main road. Turn right and the steps to The Greenway are 250 yards on the right.

2. Abbey Road around 12.35pm. The entrance is a 3 minute walk from Abbey Road DLR Station. Turn right outside the station, walk down the hill 100 yards then left at Max House.

3. Stratford High Street around 12.45pm. Leave the station and make your way on to the High Street. Head south for 10 minutes. You’ll reach a junction where the High St intersects the Greenway. The meet point will be on the west side of the road (stadium side, see attached image)

4. Pudding Mill Lane around 1pm. The meeting point will be outside the station by the bike racks.

Banners are welcome but please remember that they must not be abusive. Our cause is strengthened if we maintain the standards of decency that have epitomised our campaign thus far.

Hammers United will have marshals at all pick up points. Our stroll will end on Marshgate Lane by the second bridge. Here we will convene for words from our key speakers.

We today call on not just our twelve thousand members, but on all members of all groups everywhere to join us. . . all West Ham Fans. . . All Hammers. . . United.

There will be thousands there. The Press will be there in force and many thousands worldwide will see our message.

Support the team not the regime.

We want our club back.
