Open Letter follow-up and Season Cards now available

Hammers United

The collective efforts of all those who took the time to sign the petition for season cards have paid off. You put us in a position to write to the club on behalf of thousands of supporters. The club have now published an online form allowing over 65s and accessible supporters to obtain a season card. Under 65s who require a card, however, are still being advised to call the ticket office.

This being the case, we have gone back to the club today on your behalf. You can read the letter we have sent below.

To West Ham United FC,

Whilst we have not yet received a reply to our letter dated 2 August, we note the articles posted on the club website a few hours after our letter had been received.

We welcome the creation of an online form, which some supporters can complete to obtain a season card.

However, placing an age restriction on those who can use the form is not acceptable. Insisting that other supporters who require a card phone the ticket office is not fair.

Therefore, we are sending this follow-up letter to reiterate that the 3,680 people who have now signed the petition are calling for all supporters to be able to utilise a simple form to allow them to obtain a season card.

We look forward to receiving your reply and we stress again that should any club representatives wish to meet to discuss this issue, we will ensure we have delegates available from our committee at the time of your choosing.

Kind regards,

Hammers United and West Ham Supporters
