Happy Christmas from Hammers United

Merry Christmas from Hammers United

Dear Fellow Hammers,

2022 will be remembered as the year our beloved Queen Elizabeth passed away.Thank You and god bless Your Majesty.

As the year draws to a close we reflect on what has been another very difficult year for many. Against the background of a truly terrible war in Ukraine and a winter of discontent in this country, financial hardship is now a reality for many of us. Rising food prices and the cost of heating our homes has brought worry to so many and there seems no end in sight at times.

Despite this, the West Ham family continues to come together. Many fans have contributed to the Bobby Moore fund and the Irons Supporting Foodbanks initiative. We have also seen the continued expansion of Neil Taylor’s ‘Hammers for Work & Support’ page and Jonjo Heueman continues his sterling efforts on behalf of the Bobby Moore Fund.

Benny Ellis and Andy Fuller took their taxis out to Ukraine to help distribute aid. Gary Firmager also gave up his time taking multiple van loads of aid; brilliant stuff from three of our own. Well done to the hundreds of Hammers who contributed both independently and through our go fund me page to help support these Claret and blue heroes.

In addition, Leo Bowers trekked up Mount Everest, raising money for Isla Caton’s charity. Well done big man.

To all you others who have done charitable work, well done all, West Ham fans truly are the best.

Watching our beloved Hammers does gives us welcome respite and 90 minutes when we can try and forget our problems and cheer on our team. We have seen a disappointing start to the season but we hope for improvement, a move up the league and a successful cup run.

Hammers United continues to strive towards improving things for West Ham supporters. Please help us by spreading the word and by encouraging your West Ham friends and family to join us.

On behalf of Hammers United, I wish all West Ham fans a wonderful Christmas and a happy and healthy new year. Family is most important to all of us, but West Ham United is our second great love, so let’s wish for a successful new year for our beloved club. An FA Cup win would be nice.

Up The ‘Ammers!

God bless you all.

Paul (Bubbles).
