Banners for Liverpool protest

Friends,

We have been in contact with LFC about our planned protest and they have made it very clear that we must abide by their regulations. Therefore we will need you to send us pictures of any larger banners (10ft x 6ft upwards) that you intend to take so they can approve them in advance. Please send pictures to [email protected] and we will forward them to LFC and come back to you only if there is a problem with your design.

It is vital that these banners are fire proofed & have a manufacturers label to prove that they are, otherwise you will not be able to take them into Anfield.

We also need to remind you that banners must not carry swear words, be abusive or sexist.

Banners will also be checked by LFC stewards before entry is permitted. To avoid slowing down the queues, please arrive at Anfield as early as possible. If any WHUFC stewards approach you about your banners, politely request the presence of an LFC steward as they have the authority to assist you.

With regard to black balloons it is preferred that they are bio degradable which can be ordered on Ebay or Amazon.

We would also like to place on record our thanks and gratitude to Spirit of Shankly, LFCs’ supporters union. Not only have they lent Hammers United their help and support, but they are looking to have a banner in the Kop with a message of solidarity for us. We asked how we could show our thanks and appreciation, and they have suggested that you take a contribution to their Food Bank which is located on the Anfield Road next to the clubs Family Park. Financial donations are also welcome.

Our protest will be a great show of strength to all the world; that Liverpool FC fans are supporting us will make it even more so. But as ever, please remember to support the team, not the regime.

Thank you.
